GameGain optimizes your computer performance to make your games run faster. Based off the PCMedik software, this differentiates itself by focusing entirely on gaming performance upgrades only. Playing computer games that run entirely too slow or show poor performance? This attempts to solve such problems and at the same time increase computing performance. It boosts your computer gaming performance by modifying several system settings, so you can now use that old computer or new computer of yours as your primary gaming station. No installation or modification needs to be made to your hardware, it does all the complicated settings for you instantly.

Same thing can be done with the Reg Editor and a google search. And much better things can be done with much better *free* softwares (X-Setup). Too bad they don't specify that the performances will "improve" only on a few systems.
Advice : Put all your softwares in a all in one package, add lot of checkboxes, sell the whole thing at 10 bucks and it may deserve a 3 (more likely a 2).

It used to be free though. I used it before and I also didn't notice any big improvements. The only thing it did was screwing my registry up!! The good thing was that it makes back-ups. That's it, not really worth the money.

It test it with a pc (2,8Mhz, 256mb RAM). I detect NOTHING, it works in the same way. But now I buy extra 256mb RAM. Wow, that's more effective than GameGain.
My opinion: Software cannot replace physical memory! Buy memory for 30 EURO, this money is then better invested.

GameGain had a very notorious history; however, all issues had been fixed way back. GameGain works. I have actually seen performance improvements in my gaming (Maybe its because I'm using an old computer?). Newer comps might not see much of a difference though.

Not really worth to pay for it.
I can not detect, that the tools/games ran better.
The program makes something, but nobody knows exactly what!
