    I initially got an "Unknown Installer Error", so I uninstalled the version I had and rebooted and then ran the install, then during the install it told me my Google drive wasn't empty, so I delted all the files, then signed in and all my files were downloaded from the cloud from the previous install. A 4 rating because it was complex to install new software

    So I downloaded Google drive, but each time someone edits and saves a file they do not own the file becomes corrupt and then totally disappears? I end up having to revert to older versions I saved on my computer, meaning I would have lost all the recent updates I would have made on my files.

    I give up! I've tried installing this on several machines running Windows 7 32 and 64 bit, even tried Win XP but getting the same error reported here:
    "Unknown Installer Error".

    Gives an "unknown error" on Windows 7 64bit. Doesnt help running the .exe in admin mode..

    The Windows synchronization tool is for Windows Vista and Windows 7. It will not install on Windows XP. This information is embedded in the exe file. Look for the string supportedos.
