    @FB .. From Within Google Earth

    -Launch Proggy>>Help>>CheckForUpdatesOnline... (A Box should Pop-up)
    It should tell you if there is an Update available & a Download Link.
    Click the Link & then the "Download Google Earth" Button.

    -UNCHECK the Google Chrome Options.
    -CLICK (Advanced Setup) Just below Privacy Policy.
    -Select/Unselect Options.
    -"Agree and Download" Button.
    This works for "FreeWare" Dunno about Other versions.?? .. ^_^

    ##Use GE ............ PORTABLY .. ~_^
    Download>>Rclick File>>Unpack.. Put the Unpacked Folder with Files to
    Its new Home (Anywhere).. Open the folder & Nav to..
    Program Files>>Google>>Google Earth>>Client>>googleearth.exe

    If this version has fixed issues of previous options then why not?
    Why not? Because Google destop applications always installs Google Updater and that I am sick and tired of always having to remove that junk.
    We will manage without ze beautifool earth :)

    Installed this date and it corrupted my start menu and start bar on win7

    I would say skip this version big time.
