Gpick is an advanced color picker. It will allow you to pick colors as well as to create palettes from images. The program can also create color schemes and mix two or more colors using variable number of steps and different mixing types.

    Oh yes, people try out all kinds of different programs all the time, but they hate to install libraries that rarely need to be updated... *shrugs*

    You need GTK+ because Windows does not have them by default, just like you need to install .NET 3.5 on Windows XP to run Paint.NET. But Windows 7 has .NET 3.5 installed by deafult.

    So you can say that you need to install monstrous .NET to run tiny Pain.NET here as well.

    BTW if you have GIMP installed, then you already have GTK+ runtimes.

    I was wondering why this only got one star and then I realized that you need GTK to run a tiny colour picker program? lol

    Looks nice though and maybe later I'll get around to trying it on Linux.

    Does not run on Windows without GTK components.
