GuardNVR is high-quality web based network video recording and managing software that supports all possible standards and focuses on ease of use. It supports 85% of all network cameras and 99.9% of analogue cameras sold on the market. As new cameras become available new camera drivers can be easily added on. A single GuardNVR server can support up to 20 cameras, enabling customers to purchase the required number of camera licenses (2, 7, 10, 13, 16, etc.) without having to pay for unwanted capacity.

    Though the application seems to be too slow and uninteresting at first sight, you do understand later that time-lapse recording allows storing more clips than under high speed. It’s a pity I can’t use 4 cameras. Anyway I have already detected who had been in my office at lunch! It’s bad one cannot download the software directly from betanews.com .

    Suitable for home use, uses my HDD space very sparingly. I can keep an eye on my child from my workplace, or check playback at lunchtime; it is very useful for me. I’m looking forward for further versions!
    PS. Especially I liked online help, I’ve got familiar with the application in 10 minutes!

    Great Video Surveillance application, but I don't understand why its listed in the security / lockdown category. It belongs under Video / Recording.
    The transmission via regular phone line is really very good for this kind of image quality. Also amazing recording capacity. It took me about 15 minutes to have the Activity Detection tuned, but once tuned I can easily record for several days on my 2 GByte disk.
