It works OK, and does not require UAC approval in Vista x64. But the temperature icons in the tray are only one color (green), which are not very visible. I assume that will be fixed in the final version though.
But the real problem for me is that it does not allow my SATA II drives to spin down under the control of the Vista power-down settings. I use these drives only for storing videos, and don't want them running all the time. Also, HDD Temp installs as a service, but the service did not uninstall when I uninstalled the program. I had to go into the registry and hack it out. I will use something else for my temperature monitor, which does not need to run continuously anyway.

It works, but I have installed the ASUS-Tool for my Motherboard.
Reviewing 1.3 Beta Build 160 (Feb 25, 2004)
Installer starts and then nothing gets installed.
Why not use a real installer like wise?
Reviewing 0.1 Beta Build 10 (Feb 2, 2004)
Seems ok. Worked with either my SATA drives or my IDE ones, I dont know because I couldn't choose which drive to monitor! I have 3. Ah well. Seems like it has potential.
