Doesn't work with TrueCrypt partitions--at all.
Doesn't distinguish between read and write operations. If either a read or write is taking place, the indicator lights up. Sometimes, it's nice to know what is going on--that's the whole point to using such a utility.
Doesn't let you disable the pointless tray icon.
Doesn't provide any way to tell which LED is which--short of hovering the cursor over each one. You can't even opt to have the drive letter shown above each LED. Annoying, and for a such a simple shareware utility, incomprehensible.
Save $20 and get DriveGLEAM (or FloatLED, which is based on DriveGLEAM), which works better, provides more options, and is free. (But still doesn't support TrueCrypt partitions.)
