    I have used this program for quite some time now and found that if you try to record large screens...like over 800x600 you'll get framerate problems and the program usually stops the whole recording. For Direct3D concerns this is definitely out of the question, leave those to Fraps. I just recently found Camstudio 2.0 and I have to say that its a must-have if you need to do desktop recordings, I really don't understand why fileforum doesn't have the program. Just in case by the time you read this they still don't have it, go here http://camstudio.org/ to get it.

    A good way to capture streaming media from webcams or scenes from big brother usually censored from TV.
