I've been using the old "Mirabilis ICQ Pro 2003b 3916" since my Windows 98SE days and still prefer it much better than the new versions.

The UI looks too busy. Whatever happened to uncomplicated clean interfaces? It's back to Pidgin for me.

version 5 is better. version 6 doesnt support win all - only sp2 and above.

too many annoying stuff going on in v6! I went back to 5.1 and dont regret it! very disappointing.. I even liked the beta better!

I don't use ICQ nor do i know people who use it. But i download it from time to time just to see how its going. Its been pretty bad for a long time. This version is def. allot better. Not sure with the bad rating here. But i still like Yahoo msgr the best. I like the interface. Seems to have most features the other im's have. I always see stats on who has the browser lead, the operating system lead. I never see who leads the im race anymore. Used to be aim and icq lead back in the day. If anyone has this info. please put it out....
