IE Performance Addon to advance to Microsoft's Internet Explorer with new bar at the bottom of window. This second window has a special navigation handling logic. You can load your current Web page into it and and any navigation in this window will be forwarded into main window. It's useful for efficient work with searching engines, catalogs, big navigation structures, huge html pages, and so on.

Useful tool but I prefer KatieSoft Scroll. BTW, this isn't freeware ... $19 to register.

Does what it says and I like the idea, but is limiting. No opportunity to optimize or browse separately. I have a home built page with frames and it refuses to load. I would love to have a separate home page for the band; the ability to position the band; and the ability to independantly navigate in the band (at least back and forward would be helpful).

Hey, is there a full moon? Xenophobe didn't notice that the program is freeware (DUH), and Knocks is what's commonly referred to as 'off topic'.
------------If the toolbar button is supposed to toggle the program on and off, it doesn't work. If it's not supposed to, it should. It didn't do anything in Win2K+IE5.5 SP2. The program kept everything in one window but I didn't see an added section at the bottom. Needs some work, IMO.

Does what it says, works great..and it's a good idea. Get's a hard-to-earn 5 from me.

it does what it says. unfortunately i've been trained to shift-click any link if i want to preserve the parent page, so i don't think i'd be able to adjust to it. as for rebooting, you can actually just kill the Explorer process (on NT based machines) and then restart the process. it's a lot faster than rebooting the entire machine.
