In reply to Mr. Brian Johnson, I suggest you try the following to rid your PC of every virus you could possibly accumulate. Download the Avira Antivir rescue disc ISO file and burn this to a CD. You will find it at :

    http://www.avira.com/en/...a-antivir-rescue-system

Boot from the CD and select your options to delete all files that cannot be cleaned. Download SuperAntiSpyware portable from :

    http://www.superantispyw...om/portablescanner.html

Scan your PC again, this time through Windows using this software. For best long term protection and disinfection, I recommend you use either Avira or AVG as your permanent resident scanner, and use it together with a weekly scan with the free version of SuperAntiSpyware. This combination beats just about everything else you may have seen. Best of luck.

I like this software. The user interface is very intuitive and friendly and most importantly-no annoying advertising like most other free programs.
I was so frustrated when I was trying to fight with some virulent hijacker sneaking in my PC. I mean, I did try many programs, threatfire, hijack and antiviral but all failed. My PC still don’t work from this evil bad malware. I nearly was about to reinstall OS when I noted IObit Malware Fighter. Well, this seems to be a new product. I don’t know if it can help. But I used other IObit products before and they did give me good experience….so…why bother not to try another time!! Well then I downloaded and installed it and hit the “Scan”button…, frankly, that time I didn’t have much expectation..but then…it showed that some malware found and removed!! It only took me less than 15min that my PC worked again!! I have to say that I was really impressed by its performance and I don’t really understand those who have left negative comment!!?
The bottom line is…it impressed me. I’m mentioning it to my friends already and it totally justify spending the time to leave such a long review here, which I barely did for other program before, because IT IS TRUILY A GREAT PROGRAM!

Pretty nice actually. I really like the GUI, it may be the most intuitive and usable GUI of all the AM and AV programs. No time yet to evaluate the definitions, but the other IOBit products are at least fair. (IOBit 360 for example. I didn't notice any excessive resource usage. For those concerned about "ripping off" definitions, there is an initiative afoot for all AM and AV developers to freely share definitions, just as police forces share criminal records. Nothing wrong with that it if helps keep the criminals at bay.

I do wish for more options and control over malicious files and false hits, but I hope not at the cost of garbling up the sweet GUI. 1 point off for lack of file control.

Installed without any major incident and seems to run well but there is an error message when I start running it under a LUA and there seems to less overall responsiveness in my system. I have a fairly modern computer so I can't blame that. I've used other software that didn't affect responsiveness (it isn't really lagging ... it just isn't as snappy as before). I will try it a week or 2 and probably uninstall it if it continues to affect my system's performance ... I run my computer 24/7 so that should be ample time to determine its effectiveness.

Update: Couldn't tolerate the lag/delay in responsiveness and it didn't detect 2 files were malicious files ( I have them to test such programs and they are encrypted and they were decrypted separately as a test) so I've decided to remove it and downgrade my rating from 3 to 1. Will try again in the future as the product matures.

    See screenshots HERE.

Malware Fighter (MF) includes 8 malware-fighting components: Startup Guard, Process Guard, Network Guard, File Guard, Cookie Guard, Browser Guard, USB Disk Guard, and Malicious Action Guard. Each component can individually be turned On or Off by the user.

MF causes little if any discernible drag on my computer's zippiness (it's WinXP with 2 GB ram & 1.7 Ghz CPU -- an oldie). MF is light with respect to usage of I/O, CPU, & RAM. It does use a goodly amount of Virtual space.

The GUI is excellent & easy to learn/use. My one complaint is that it provides no visible lists of the processes Allowed or Blocked. To me, this is a major gap -- example: if I block a process & want to change my mind, I can find no way to do it. For this reason, max rating for me would be a 4.

AFAIK, the effectiveness of MF has not yet been tested by any professional test organization. Accordingly, my "4" rating has to do with nothing more than MF's *potential*.

Good AV program. Not a thing wrong with it, detections are plenty strong for a secondary AV scanner. For those who have their shorts in a knot about IOBit snitching MBAM's definitions, that's all for naught. Some of the AV developers are already sharing definitions collaboratively, and soon all of them will be. Spreading viruses is a crime, so it's mean and maybe even criminal to withhold known virus signatures.

Another yet product from makers very popular ,, Advanced Windows Care,, Cleaner. The main problem is about very low detection rate, tested with files contains trojans and this app simply skip all these infected files. Also slow scan speed and load. Probably IS 360 has a MalwareBytes virus database because have all the same results, one to one, but MB Anti-Malware is much better and faster. Also I think install this app is completely waste time, because all modern AV such Avira or Kaspersky have same functionality and high detection rate, additions no needed.

Appears to be a very good anti-malware scanner. Does everything one could need to defend against and wrangle malware. It's light and snappy, easy to use, and looks nice. The proof is in the using, so I will give it 4 stars until I use it a while. I scanned once, and it quickly found and removed 1 minor Trojan. It also had 3 false hits on some old files, not surprising. If this scanner not only finds but does a good job cleaning malware, it will be 1 of the few Freeware scanners that actually does both. Try it, I think you'll like it. Time will tell if it's a real gem or a pretender, but if I had to guess, I would say it's a gem.
