Windows (All) / Freeware / 1,356 downloads

Idle Background will change your desktop background to specific images listed on the main window. The images are picked out of the list every minute (or whatever time your specify) and are changed and set to either Tile, Centre or Stretch. The program will keep looping through the list until you stop the program. Previews of the wallpapers you wish to use are available and extra tools to ensure that everything runs smoothly.

Idle background will sit in the system tray while its running, ensuring that it does not clutter your desktop. You can save your images used as lists, which means that you can have several lists of wallpapers to use, allowing you to switch whenever you get bored of your current wallpapers.

As I tried to download it, Windows Defender Warned me that it was spyware and asked if i would like to remove it from my pc. What's up with that?

Alert level: SEVERE - MarsPC - Remove? Ignore?

When I started it up, it stated that it modified my current theme, and would need me to restart idle background. I closed the program, but it refused to restart. In my themes list nothing appeared modified.

Perhaps release this when it's truly a beta? (i.e. at least starts and runs for a few seconds?)

Hmm, doesn't seem to be working for me. Clicked on Add Image From Folder, selected my Wallpaper folder containing 88 images, then clicked the "Start" button. Delay is set at 1 minute and I've been on the same wallpaper for the last 30.
    -------------------------------------------------
Edit: Well, somehow it started working. I did see that if I click on one of my wallpapers, I receieve a run-time error (regular .jpg file). I'm wondering if this is the reason the wallpaper wouldn't change (e.g. tries to select a new wallpaper, can't do it, so it just leaves the old one on).
