Kana Clip monitors text copied into clipboard. The copied text is saved into memory so it can be accessed later through popup menu. The popup menu is activated by using user-defined hotkey. Using permanent clip, it can also be used to paste predefined text. The text contained in permanent clip can be easily edited by using any text editor program.
- Changes the format of how the clips are saved. This version saves the clips into XML format. The result is the process of saving the clips becomes faster than in previous version. The conversion from the old into new format is done automatically
- Added notification (sound played) when a new clipboard entry is detected
- If you want the clip list on the left side of the clip editor displays the line on the list, you can add the following line into [Option] section of the ini file: TreeShowLines=1 - 1 (one) is to display line and 0 (zero) to hide the line
Reviewing 22.214.171.124 Beta (Jul 22, 2006)
Handy program, I wish you could integrate it into the right-click menu instead.
For some reason I am having trouble accessing permanent clips.
edit: After some tinkering. Despite what the help file says, you need to REFRESH clips after editing the permanent clips. For whatever reason, on the two systems I tested it on, RELOADing the clips like the help file says just clears the entire permanent clip file.
