Kodiak has everything, combining the easy interface and multitude of customizable features you know and love from Phoenix Millennium with the security, encryption, and user management from Alliance 2. Some of the many features of this program include XL Digital's innovative TrueWeb Technology and secure auto save feature. It also includes a screenshot utility as well as multi-pane browsing and Indigo encryption.
- ADDED Remove User option
- ADDED Profile List automatic removal upon removing a user
- CORRECTED Profile List not repopulating when a new user is added
- CORRECTED Favorites menu not repopulating when a new Favorite is added
- CORRECTED 'Phoenix Utilities' caption on the utility tab--now reads 'Kodiak Utilities'
- CORRECTED Indigo Open/Save dialog problem when handling files in the root folder

The tab Idea is good, but the duplicate navigation bars and the extra navigaion bars in the "Sub-Browsers" just dont go. Also, how come there is only support for a set amount of browser tabs, it can't be to difficult to implement.

Okay, the description is useless, but since I have a cable mdm, I decided to try it out anyway. I don't really need the security, but it is an interesting idea. There were a few bugs especially during the setup for security settings, but besides taht pretty good.

As author of Snipsnap, I have posted to eFront FileForum/BetaNews prior to it's May 8 release.
Looking for your feedback before a wider distribution. Thanks for your help!

XL Digital Support: We apologize for the less-than-adequate description above. It was a mistake, and future posts that we send to Beta News will be more explicit. If you are interested, Kodiak is: a security-based web browser that allows multiple user profiles, multi-pane tabbed web browsing (meaning you have multiple browsers in a single window), custom dialog messages, TrueWeb Technology (see our web site), auto save, automatic startup utilities, and more. For more information, please visit our web site at www.smokezone.net, or the Kodiak specific page at www.smokezone.net/dev/kodiak.htm. Thank you for your interest in this application!

Hmm, to me "like Alliance 2" sounds something like a game.
But indeed, it also puzzles me what this app should be used for. So also no download over my 56K modem...
