LAMbCast allow you to watch "channels" made from YouTube usernames and create custom playlists. You can watch YouTube content on a TV screen with a compatible video card. You can also right click on your favorite video and download to FLV and IPod compatible video formats. This is a beta release and some features like "add private url" and "register your channel" are not yet fully installed. There is a 24 hour preview period before a $1 monthly subscription is required to use this application.

    Saving videos from youtube is also possible with free Firefox extension - Video Downloader (works also on many other video sites).

    Not only this program is not freeware at all BUT it's illegal! Yes. Google recently stated that saving any of the videos that's stored on their servers is illegal.
