LANWalk Scanner is a multithreaded NetBIOS scanner, a so-called "twin ware tool". It can scan ranges of IP-addresses (B and C classes) searching for shared resources, mount shared resources found by the program as network drives or simply browse them using Windows Explorer, and recieve extra information about computers you are scanning such as NetBIOS name, Workgroup, User name and Mac address.

Installed fine, Nice interface. Located computers on the network as advertised. Browsing and mapping didn't work even though shared resources were "discovered" Tried on both local ( 5 machine network 192.168.x.x ) and corporate WAN with same results. All computers located with resources but unable to map to or explore.

Interesting program, but let me give a little bit of advice to people who want to use this - Don't go scanning netblocks of IP addresses you don't own or manage. Many ISPs will terminate your service if they catch you doing netblock scans on other people's networks. Its considered rude and in some places, illegal.
