There are Linux distros like Mint, Mepis, Ultima, Sabayon which play DVDs out of the box, also even new MS installations need codec to play back DVD which have to either be bought or downloaded.

wow... all that in "just" 4gb..!!!!!
being linux though, does it actually play DVDs (unlike every linux distro I've ever tried that doesn't play mp3s or dvds out of the box)
