LiquidFTP supports fully recursive file transfers, FXP (server to server) transfers, and an MDI interface to allow many simultaneous connections. Compare LiquidFTP to other FTP/FXP clients, and MP3 searchers, and you will see that LiquidFTP is smaller, faster, and easier to use.
The MP3 search feature can quickly search popular MP3 search engines, and then check to see if any of the sites allowed a download at up to 144 simulataneously. The sites that allowed a download will then be highlighted and show "Site allowed download" to let you know what site to get the song from.
This compact user-friendly shareware program was designed to be fast, easy to download and install, and it's GUI makes it easy to quickly see what's happening.
- Downloading didn't work for a lot of people in Beta 5
- Fixed some stability issues
- MP3 searching works much better
- More MP3 search engines (12 total)
- MP3 searching now checks the results when they come in so you don't need to wait
- MP3 search results can now be sorted by clicking on headers

It crashed before I could even make the first connection. The interface is the worse I have seen, and so it the layout. Do yourself a favor, use cuteftp and save the headache. My $0.2

Reviewing 1.0 Beta 1 (Feb 21, 2000)
I haven't tested out the ftp portion, because I really have no need for another ftp program. (Bulletproof works great for me) I tested the mp3 search portion of the program, and searched for over 50 different bands, and it turned up nothing. I even searched for *GASP* the backstreet boiz thinking if there was _ANYTHING_ online, it would be them, unfortunately, but still nothing. Am I perhaps doing something wrong? The interface for Liquid looks smooth, and depending on the functionality of the ftp section, I'd give a 4 on overall, since it _IS_ quite space-conservative.
More later on this when I get a chance to test it.
