MOV Download Tool allows you to download QuickTime files from various websites and allows you to play them in your favorite player. This tool acts as a proxy between those QuickTime 'buttons' that you find on some websites and the QuickTime Player. It intercepts the URLs and presents you a list of actions to choose from. This tool is also able to extract urls from .qtl files. Those are found for example on the Yahoo! movie site.

MOV download works as a a proxy. When you press a QuickTime button, this tool show a list of actions to choose from. I use it not very often, but i never get trouble.

Kinda useless, I get the same functionality from Page Info/Media in Firefox, and it downloads the cached version if possible. Can this even capture streams? You can do everything this does with built-in funtionality in FF, or the downloadhelper plugin.

i wish the description was more clear. installer does not reveal or ask anything i found three files D:\programs\MOV Download Tool\unins000.dat D:\programs\MOV Download Tool\unins000.exe D:\programs\MOV Download Tool\psvince.dll now what? is this an IE-only tool? is it a true proxy like proxomitron? lets see what i find out i run maxthon 2 ... dont find anything new. (plain IE is inacessible on my system ...) nothing in opera.... if find nothing new in "autoruns" ah ... enough time wasted for now
