Ok, not to be a "basher" or anything, But in all honesty, it just doesn't work!
Requires QuickTime Alternative, downloaded it and installed it, and it still doesn't work! The "make sure you check the additional plug-in's option.." info...didn't see any "additional plug-in's" option, but I did install everything that I could! No joy!
If a freeware app requires another freeware app...how bout building it in, or make it part of the install to obtain the correct version and have it installed correctly during the setup of your freeware app?
This one needs some polishing.
There are so many of these kind of freeware MPEG editor apps out there that promise "one app shopping" that will "do everything", that just don't. Maybe someone could actually write one of these apps that does everything it says?
Kudos on a nice structure, and app design. I am not a developer, so my hat goes off to anyone that can/does write software. I surely can't do it!

It doesn't do everything, but what it does, it does very well.
