    Undocumented keys controll for playing, stop, brightness or etc etc.
    I find push the space key for stop and again for play video.
    But dont push number 4 cause totally black the monitor and never be normal brightnes again.
    Anybody knows some other keys or it.
    Dont play H264 avi.
    Play VLC perfect but mplayer seek frame error.
    BRU HA HA
    I dont believe it.
    Come on programmers Lets go make documentation
    what keys what doing we use it for fullscreen perhaps on a nice day perhaps on Christmas nacht.

    make sure to activate the propper hardware support/utilization, before comming to conclusions about mplayers speed.

    i used to have that problem on with my gentoo linux compiled mplayer....

    on windows, make sure you install the included drivers (\drivers\Nt\dhahelper.sys). just run the batchfile. maybe others things (settings) are to be considered on your system.

    mplayer uses close to zero CPU if installed correctly and if you execute no more than one instances at the same time.

    (any applications that use transparency? might intefere, i think. dunno. used to on older window versions)

    support for some codecs might be less fast than support for most. i rememer mplayer beeing slow with one frigging elite mp* anything encoded file (180 MB for 3 minutes). deleting that video solved my problem.

    whenever i tried any direct show player it was much more CPU intensive.

    i barely use any of the GUIs for mplayer, but it's good to have them. sometimes.

    Using 'Friends' as an example screenshot, FAIL.

    MPlayer for windows sucks in general right now. It's a resource hog, and the codecs need alot of work.

    As for this UI, works well.
