i have always been a fan when it comes to organizing notes in a tree-like database. Interface is crisp and smooth. Easy enough to navigate and use as well. However, it consumes too much memory for a small app. It hovers around 12meg mem usage, even in idle mode. I can get better results using notekeeper, which hovers aroun 1meg (even less) in idle mode.
Fix the mem usage problem, and we have a winner on our hands.
Another similar free program is snippet, but it's non-existent in today's time.

Damn, great idea and price. Trouble is I think 14megs is a bit much memory usage for an app that I would probably want to keep open all the time for its alarm features, etc. Plus, you have to select a different font from the one in use in order to make the note body writeable. That's a fixable bug, but 14megs is too much for a thing like this. Guess it must be a java applet...

More than simply another silly 'notepad replacement'. This applet is somewhat sophisticated, and the price is right. Primary feature being the capability of categorizing notes.
