Maxthon is a powerful web browser with a highly customizable interface. It is based on the Internet Explorer engine which means that what works in IE, works the same in Maxthon but with many additional efficient features like Tabbed Browsing Interface; Mouse Gestures; Super Drag&Drop; Privacy Protection; AD Hunter; Google Bar Support; External Utility Bar; and Skinning.

Reviewing 3.0.4.8 Alpha (Oct 27, 2009)
Maxthon 3 is simply the best version so far. I don't like Maxthon 2 because it's bloated with too many features which majority even don't use. I wanted it to be clean, simple, and lite. With Maxthon 3 they are going in the right direction.
Plus the greatest thing they did is they moved away from Trident. Now they are using webkit as a browser engine which is more faster, and follow 100% web standards.
I am simply loving this version it so far. Lets see what happens next in later releases :)
Reviewing 3.0.2.2 Alpha (Sep 13, 2009)
It's been a very long time & still it's an Alpha.
Bring this sucker into beta already.....
slow pokes !
Not to say that I'd like the Maxthon 3 anyway, but if it's better than the 2.0 version, well maybe I'll mess with it for a while.
As it stands right now, I have no use for it..
Reviewing 3.0.2.2 Alpha (Sep 11, 2009)
Huge Maxthon 1.6.x supporter, but they started going in the wrong direction with version 2 and now version 3 seals the deal.
No Window Frame should NOT be a requirement. At the very least, users should be able to toggle that feature on and off.
The stability problems and in my opinion poor development choices in both versions 2 and 3 have finally pushed me away from the IE platform entirely and I have switched completely over to FireFox 3.x
It's sad to see what was a fantastic program end up so horribly mangled like it has been in 2 and now 3. Incredibly disappointing.
Reviewing 3.0.0.140 Alpha (Jul 31, 2009)
I don't understand why all the people lambasting Maxthon 3 for not having a window frame aren't also lambasting Chrome and the latest renderings of Firefox 3.7 for the same....
Reviewing 3.0.0.140 Alpha (Jul 28, 2009)
Maxthon 1 was amazing maxthon 2 a little bloated and then they REMOVED the window frame and this version (maxthon3) is dreadful. When you think this is up against chrome and Firefox it looks and feels VERY dated and sluggish.
