I hear you bobad, FF stinkbugs should take another honest look at it. Maxthon,as it stands, gives me the best of both Opera and Firefox. Its hard to believe its built on IE - which still sux

Maxthon 1.x was very good (I used it for years). But Firefox 3.x is WAY better than Maxthon 2.x

I use Opera as my main browser but a couple of the sites i visit STILL do not get rendered properly so for them I'd use firefox, but I just hate firefox so much that I decided to give Maxthon another try....and....well....Its still very buggy. Now I was a user of the pre 2.x releases but as the 1.6x version was updated more and more it seemed to crash more and more. This release works at the sites I want it to but wouldn't you know its very own skins site crashed it!! It will replace that awful firefox for the couple of sites I need it to but Opera is far better than this for everyday use

Best browser shell out there. Nothing is close. The tabs and tab grouping are far more sophisticated and easier to use than the competition. No silly plugins needed for dozens of powerful features. Even a spell checker and download accelerator and manager. Pay no attention to the low ratings. The FF stinkbugs feel threatened and rate Maxthon far too low. I give it six bars out of 5!
