McAfee CleanBoot is a recovery utility that can be used to scan and clean infected computers. It is intended for use where serious infection is suspected. It provides an in-depth scan of the boot sector and all the files on the supported disk partitions.

    This is a good util that lets you make bootable CDs or
    floppies. The anti-virus program is dos based so you
    don't need windows running before you start scanning.
    This is still beta software, but it can only get better
    in my opinion. Looking to furture updates.

    Just to avoid any confusion, this program lets you create bootable media (floppy/cdrom) which will then allow you to 'clean' infected computers from bootup. An auto-updating system would be a huge benefit, you have to download updates manually (yuck) at the moment. This is not a simple "Stinger" style program. Needs a little work.
