This thing converts just about anything, but the GUI sucks.

What they've got now is pretty much 'Advanced' level, but what they need is a 'basic' GUI.

Do that and you have a very nice package.

I still can't believe that FREE software like this puts it's EXPENSIVE commercial counterparts to mother f*cking SHAME!! That's why I never EVER pay for commercial software, I mean whats the point if you have 100% superior offerings that are FREE?

As another user said though, I would remove all that XUL bullsh*t and clean up the interface itself by making it more intuitive. Theres no reason to see all the audio-option tabs on the right side once you've selected from the LEFT side what audio format you'll be using. The UI should reflect that.

For instance once you select "h.264" as your encoder of choice, ONLY options for h.264 should be available on the right side. Just like when you select "Vorbis" for audio, only the Vorbis options should be available for manipulating, keeps it cleaner and less confusing!

This review is for the PSP version only. I DL'd the application and tried several times to transcode some .vob files and then transfer them to the psp.

The sofware said the files were transfered but when I tried to play them on the PSP I would get an error message that the files were either corrupt and a couple of times it said there were no video files present.

The interesting thing is that I also had the software save the files on my computer HD and they played fine on the computer just not on the PSP.

I know my PSP is working fine because I have tried several other shareware programs and they work fine I just didn't want to spend the money so when I saw this program I gave it a whirl but no luck.
