MediaSpyder is a new tool for the Internet that will enable you to find massive amounts of images, animations, and movies, instantly and easily. Just choose a category, type in an optional keyword and you're off. It then takes over, downloading media that matches your specifications. As it speedily works for you, it will also automatically create thumbnail previews and archive all your files. It even has a built in Media Viewer that will display your Images, Animations and Movies with slideshow, zoom, wallpaper and printing features. It can find virtually any type of visual media including Clipart, GIF Animations, Celebrity Photos, Cartoons, Animals, Musicians, Screenshots, Bullets, Buttons, Icons, Textures, Adult, and much more. It also has skin support for unique user customization.

    Sorry I wasted my time downloading this. Very limited with preset catagories, movies is NOT one of them. Your better off with a search engine or a P2P program then something that appears to be written and has an adult option but them steers you towards another program for the adult content which ends up asking you for your email to use it. Also mention of MediaSpyder being free while in beta meaning if you do enjoy using it (Somehow), expect to be paying in the future IF it makes it outta beta.

    My question is why does BetaNews REFUSE to put up my full description and on top of that, they refuse to start a new comment thread. This version DOES have Proxy support, yet it includes negative comments from a previous release? Did I do something wrong here?

    My web access is via proxy. On execution, MediaSpyder immediately tries to access the web but fails. It appears to have no options for me to configure web access, so it's a non-starter so far.

    No matter how I download or install within IE browser,
    Help about says RC1. edgegainbea.exe file size..which is
    supposedly RC3 is 409,600. Are you sure that your server
    is correctly updated for RC3 for download?
