News server management in SSL (thanks to Pierre who has payed so everybody can benefit and to François who supplied the components)
Server properties:
Addition of the option SSL in the autentication tab
Move of the option 'server port'
If SSL selected, port 995 is default. If not selected port 119 is used
Removing of a message in the local folders (sent/to be sent/draft) : direct deletion of message
Options: closing of the thread without messages read when using a keyboard shortcut to go to the next message non-read
When combining several messages, copying and moving to a folder copies the result of the combined ones
Correction of the animation problem while retrieving groups from a server
Correction of a url problem in windows 98
Verification of mail in the parameters/configuration of the servers/configuration of servers to force a 'decent' and valid e-mail address
Correction of problem in Vista/xp: selection ticks were disappearing when using ALT
At the first installation, creation of access to the 2 MesNews groups. Access of other groups on the server needs a request for userid/password on zoo-logique.org

GREAT UsenetClient, stil a few hickups, but overall really good. @arabian WTicker is dead, no more updates.

This product exceeded all my expectations. The author has provided a fully functional easy to use product. After brief use I have not discovered any bugs with my initial install, and have only a few improvement requests. The download was small and fast, the install was also fast and easy and I was able to use all the default values. The install prompted for initial parameter setup options and while I had a few questions when filling in the blanks, I found that I was able to get a successful setup very quickly with my fairly non technical skill level to start with. The only problem I encountered was due to my desire to use my MSN email address for Identifying myself, but to send newsgroup posts or email a POP3 email account must be used and the system uses that address in the "From" line of the message. While that can be overridden it is a bit annoying. The Help screens are web enabled and while they offer multiple language selections they are not very mature so only offer very basic help. When I subscribed to the authors newsgroup I found that nearly all postings are NOT English, and since I do not speak or read French they are of little value to me. All that said, this product is very feature rich and so much faster than Outlook Express I was very impressed. This is a well done product.
