    That's right, it's simple to change that by hand.. why do we have to pay for that... Another idea for this developper is to rename notepad.exe and to sell it !

    You can do this for free by typing 'services.msc' at the Run prompt and disabling the "Messenger" service. Whoever feels the need to charge for something so free and easy as this should be slapped around a bit.
