Relax people, it's just a rename for Microsoft Virtual Earth.

I don't even understand what it's all about. Sometimes I wonder if Microsoft is aiming an elite or is it that I'm plain stupid? The symptom I must say is tightly related to MS products descriptions, conceptualized to a point of formal minimalism.

Good software but I HATE the name. Not that I have anything against Microsoft's choice of Bing as it's new search engine, but saing "Microsoft Bing Maps 3D" makes me sound like i have a speech impediment, or an odd form of turrets syndrome. c'est la vi...

I like bing as a search engine comparable to goog's. It has a 3d map option that only works in ff & ie, neither of which I use. This "Virtual Earth 3D" installer simply uses IE as it's backbone for 3D views. whatever

I'm a bit confused about the so called "review" that gives it a low score for what appears to be dubious reasons. If your system does not meet the minimum system requirements as outlined on the software's site how can you give an objective review? I guess bashing Microsoft just for the sake of bashing is the thing to do these days.
