Microsoft Expression Blend + SketchFlow is a visual tool for designing and prototyping desktop and web applications. You build an application by drawing shapes, drawing controls such as buttons and list boxes, making the pieces of your application respond to mouse clicks and other user input, and styling everything to look uniquely your own.

i don't think design will ever be a fullfeatured photo editing app. it's meant to be more of an "illustrator for the web" ... use illustrator if you don't like design.

this version seems to squash a few pull your hair out bugs and adds some nice "states" editing (e.g. mouseover, click, etc.) for assets in wpf and sl 2 projects.

getting better. still has a long way to go though.

I give it a 1 only because of the limited possibilities of Expression Design.

If I go for Expression, then it is for the whole package.
And Expression Design does not compare to other Photo-Editing software yet (by far not).
The available tools are just too limited and inadequate.

Therefore no Expression from me for the whole bunch.

    Windows Presentation Foundation = WPF.
If you don't know what WPF is, you probably don't know what Expression Blend is.

(so I wonder why people do rate this app??)

Expression Blend is a Microsofts XAML designer for .NET FrameWork 3.0 (with CRL 2.0).

The XAML generated projects are compatible with next gen Visual Studio "Orcas" and WPF/E CRL (yes, the WPF/E CRL is a light version of CRL 2.0).

My Rate is 4, the XML design suitable with FrameWork 3.0 WPF & Web apps is greate, but this should be a part of Visual Studio for developers (Quiz to Microsoft: Guess who's creating all User Interfaces before Art Directors get their hands on applications?)

Initially wowed me... but now it crashes with a NullReferenceException every time I run it. It's a CTP I know but... something this big should've been addressed. Or at least it should've been trapped and more gracefully handled.
