Microsoft Photosynth is a technology from Microsoft Live Labs that will change forever the way you think about digital photos. This software takes a large collection of photos of a place or an object, analyzes them for similarities, and displays them in a reconstructed three-dimensional space.

    Just download it,...
    Try with a scene and found it nice.... pity that it has to send the result to their site and not directly on the computer....

    This is just to offset the offsetting of a deserved bad rating.

    "Photosynth creates the synth on your computer and then puts it on the web...without an ID where will it put the contents..."

    "Rate the software..."

    But since the software requires creating an MSN Live account before it can be used, and I don't want an MSN account, the software cannot be used.

    Thus the low rating.

    I agree with the poster who compains about being required to create a Microsoft "Live" account to use the software. Microsoft is using Photosynth as a way to rope users into participating in their social networking projects, and that's wrong.

    Software should simply work.
