PowerToys are additional programs that developers work on after a product has been released to manufacturing. They add fun and functionality to the Windows experience.
- Note: You must uninstall your old PowerToys before installing the new ones

A few extra tweaks now. Nice little dealio from MS.
Just curious, to the earlier poster with install troubles, did you uninstall the previous version of Tweak first ?
I've installed it on 5 different machines so far, and it's all going well.

This new version has the option for changing the "grace period" of the screensaver - ie. how many seconds before a password is required to unlock your machine. As well as "access control" features.

Seems as though the only powertoy that was updated was TweakUI, which now is only compatible with WinXP SP1 or later and Windows Server 2003. I didn't see much else new in the new TweakUI except maybe the ability to have a custom animation for Internet Explorer (top right, busy anim)

This is just a note for mrzootsuit if he looks back here:
run "regedit" go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop\WindowMetrics
And change the entry ShellIconBPP from 32 to 16, you'll get your high colour icons back.
May need a reboot, or just change your visual style and it should refresh it.
The only usefull powertoy for a long time has been TweakUI, although the media player would've been good if it wasn't so buggy.
