Microsoft SMS Sender is an add-on for Windows XP that will create and send SMS (text messages) by using your GSM cellular phone. It also allows the use of all characters from international alphabets. This application is a free product and has no support from Microsoft. SMS Sender can only send messages from the computer to the cellular phone. It is not possible to retrieve messages from the cellular phone from the computer. This application only supports standard SMS. Flash SMS and MMS are not supported.

    Very, very late to the party, but this little app works great! Litle gem from MS.

    I'm very happy with it !! works well with my Nokia phone, it's these little things that make life easy !! Finally MS is adding functionality to some products that have been around a while and they are doing it FREE!!!!
