MediaMonkey for my 6TB+ music collection. Yet to find another analogous program that handles such a large collection so well. WMP can't even load it all.

The program crashes a lot. It can't handle large collections, it does not give the opportunity to sort by bitrate, it isn't very technical, and why do I need a loan manager? The best thing about this program is that when I uninstalled it, it still left 3753 entries in my registry for revouninstaller to delete.
Suits you if you still have vinyl and you lend your records out on a daily basis and you do not know your friends or who you lend them to..

Music laber is a great program is you have CD collection and want to keep track of it. I use it make playlist when I dj and to look to see where songs are. It was the best out there and the Support is great. They listen and are always making the product better

I am a long time user and beta tester for Music Label. The new version of Music Label, built on top of the Firebird database, is faster than the older version and just as stable. Many new features added since my last posting here. Check the codeaero web site site and user forums for more info.
As for MP3Stock, I haven't tried it, but since its a MP3 only tool, I don't see how wattzz can consider it better than Music Label unless his music collection consists only of a bunch of free MP3s that he leeched from the internet. :)

I have tried a few different CD cataloging programs but settled on Music Label a couple of years ago since it was reliable and had the feature set that I needed. Since then I have cataloged my collection of over 1600 CDs. I use Music Label to choose tracks to play on my radio show over the internet, and to create lists that I have imported into a database on my Palm PDA.
Music Label handles CDs and MP3s (including importing of track names via CDDB or MP3 ID tags). The author has been responsive to any problems and suggestions that I have had. For anyone looking for a music database program, you should give this one a try.
