Thriller, don't suppose you passed that info on to NOD32 so they could analize it? lots of people complain, but don't bother to report what they found to the software maker.

Jeeeez, I hate people who start of their review by saying "I couldn't download it" and then proceed to give a bad rating. If you can't download the program, then don't f****** rate the program, how difficult is that?

I tried this AV program after reading some of the reviews about it which mentioned its less memory usage which really interested me. Previously I was using kaspersky AV.
Just yesterday I downloaded a file and it was auto scanned by nod32, when i ran that file my pc got infected with the virus/worm which makes the pc keep restarting with the msg that its gonna shutdown in 60secs. I couldn't believe nod couldn't detect something as big as that! After cleaning my system with mcafee stinger i again downloaded the same file to see if nod couldn't just detect the virus at all, so without running that file i just manually scanned it n again it failed to detect any threats from it even with the 'advanced heuristics' option n other similar ones checked!..
Which is y i'm rating it a 1 coz its only good for its less memory usage but not detection methods, i can still fwd that file to anyone to prove it and i've now switched back to KAV, atleast its completely safe regardless of the memory usage..

You guys smoking some good stuff or what? If ZonedAlarm Pro conflicts with anything, look first at ZonedAlarm Pro. And, in fact, I ran the latest version of ZAP along with NOD32 2.5--they worked fine together, except that ZAP didn't recognize NOD32 (which, obviously, is ZAP's fault).
Can't even download it? Well then shucks, rate it anyway. That makes sense. I think you mean that you can't download the registered version, because you need to supply credentials to do so. Rather than that, download the trial version, and if you can't, well then thousands of other people must have really good luck.
If NOD32 kills your internet connection, the most likely problem is a conflict with something else messing with Winsock. That, or your registry has been whacked by some crapware (this often happens when said crapware is uninstalled).
