It's solid and lite, and the interface is among the best (very easy to use). However, I totally agree w/ cowgaR - If you want to turn off one aspect of the scanner, it hounds you to no end. Let us tweak it eset without the constant warnings.

1. found a virus but couldn't delete it, in any way, check my AVG review...

2. you have to had (useless) internet monitor running (or POP3) when there is no need for it if you have file monitor enabled. When I disable it INTENTIONALY it treats its users like stupid morons - giving warnings and yellow icon in the tray.

I don't want ANYTHING to look at my sockets except HW firewall I am using... but it is fine to check my files.

ESET do something with it...

-1 for not detecting viruses or for fake warnings (check vista activators cracks)

-1 for an inability to delete virus once found (should put -5 here)

-1 for the need of all 3 monitors running (I really don't need POP3 for example!) without a choice of telling it I AM AN EXPERT I WANT IT THAT WAY!

-1 for HORRIBLE advanced interface and inability to change settings as a standard user (although I know ESET NOD32 passoword) and also ADMIN changes not reflected for standard user, so what the heck? How can I set my settings globaly?

well, at least few of things worked for me at 2.7, I'm still using it but ESET should do something with its quality testing...

vista OS here

I wouldn't use anything else. I just installed it on Vista 64bit with no problems. Why would you use anything else?
