NetCaptor turns the browser world upside down. Unlike other browsers which only view one site at a time or crowd multiple windows together, it opens sites on separate browser tabs.
- Import/Export Favorites feature has been turned off as MS disabled that functionality in Windows XP SP2
- The search bar now allows you to choose from different search engines
- Fixed problem where NetCaptor would not translate itself at startup
- Fixed problem where "Welcome to NetCaptor" would show every time you run NetCaptor, not just the first time
- CTRL + K now sets focus to the search bar
- Mhtml protocol no longer blocked
Reviewing 7.5.4 (Jun 28, 2006)
I Used to use this back when there was less good alternatives. I found it did crash/freze more than I liked & hated that it hid toolbars that had been previously installed into IE.
I also liked that powermarks supported it.
As I said, in the past there was not much alternative. Nowadays I can use the excellent Firefox with the 'IE Tab' extension meaning I'm surfing in a safer, more standards compliant tabbed browser & for those rare times when a page absolutely must be rendered in IE I just hit IE Tab in Forefox & voila the page is re-rendered in IE but from within an existing tab in Firefox.
Kiss stinking pile of dogsh*t IE Bye Bye...
Opera 9 is also an excellent hoice but you will still need to drop back to IE for those rare times unfortunately.
Netcaptor is now redundant IMHO
Reviewing 7.5.4 (Dec 19, 2005)
I have used many browsers over the years. I come back to Netcaptor because its the best IE based browser I have tried. While may primary browser is Opera right now, I still will be using this quite often.

I tried it, it's really good, but maxthon does the same work for free.

Reviewing 7.5.4 (Feb 20, 2005)
This 7.5.4 version has a couple of bugs with its internal search bar that needs to be worked out, and users should either wait for 7.5.5 or stick with 7.5.3 for now. Otherwise, NetCaptor is an example of great design — all of its most often-used features are 1 or 2 clicks away. Highly programmable, and its extremely clean interface is a big plus.
NOTE: Since you guys (below) have all but admitted you've never even installed NetCaptor, and you're here only to promote Firefox at the expense of trashing NetCaptor's ratings, then your adding nothing but comment spam here.
