Concerning the user interface, this application had originally a nice, well thought and well-designed GUI, but the author has a strong tendency for adding redundant functions, links and even words to the application’s screen which begins to become overloaded. You can see the UL/DL overall speed twice. You have a horizontal toolbar and a vertical sidebar. You have a horizontal information view and a vertical information view. The screen is full of redundant functionalities, redundant titles and redundant words (Outgoing, Outgoing…, Local, Local…, Remote, Remote…, Address, Address…, Connection, Connection…)
Concerning the functionality and the current beta test, I couldn’t install beta 7 because I had a BlueSOD during the installation. Also, during the tests of beta 6, I had few BlackSOD during Windows startup, immediately after entering the system password when the screen switches to the desktop display. I am currently still testing the limit function using beta 6.
It would be useful if the author can add the following columns for each process:
Speed DL/UL, Limit, Total sent/received current transaction, Cumulative sent/received process.
On the other hand, inviting the user aggressively to buy the program while it is in beta phase and full of problems, is not a useful marketing practice.
To encourage the author I give the application 4 stars.

I used NetLimiter 2 pro witch sucks... if it was possable I wold give it a 0 out of 5 but I'm going to give it a 1 sence it's the lowest option.

I installed netlimiter 2 pro and it automatticly turned off all MY axcess to internet controlls.
I uninstalled it thinking it would fix the problem but aparently it's stupid settings are ALWASE
in effect witch is stupid because I didn't set them to not let me be online.
I than FORMATTED my computer thinking it was just in the registory and that it would "refresh"
it but when I finshedinstalling xp pro witch took 2 hours of my life the settings wer still in effect
so I had to wait 2 days tell I could go to my friendsand download netlimiter 2 pro agaion and
put it on a jump drive. when I got back home I installed NL2 and went through the help file from
top to bottom looking for a way to make NL2's settingsinactave as if I never installed the stupid
program but I couldn't find it instead I had to Limit EVERYprogram on my computer wat isn't
what I wanted the program to do in the first place. I just wanted a way to see what Bandwith my
programs were useing and turn off the highest ones when I wasn't useing them...

while I managed to get moast of my programs working I'm still clueless on how to get world of warcraft
an online multiplayer game to work because it doesn't have a link in the dump program to let it work...
I'm going to find a way to let WOW work and than uninstall the stupid trial version before the time runs
out and not let me fix any other errors and if I wana buy other online games like Halo 2 and Unreal
Tordmant and install them they better ****ING work after NetLimiter 2 pro has been uninstalled.

PS: sorry for spelling errors. I just hate this program so much I'm not going to bother to use spellcheak.

c4p0ne, if you want a program thats centrally managed to control network traffic.. NETLIMITER is NOT for you,... its not what its designed for.. theres lots of other apps out there that can be centrally managed to control computers access on a network to the internet but NetLimiter is designed to control individual applications on one machine.. like.. limit torrents when using usenet.. etc.. not to manage flow of a network..

for what its meant to do its fantastic..
