NetWorx is a simple, yet versatile and powerful tool that helps you objectively evaluate your bandwidth consumption situation. You can use it to collect bandwidth usage data and measure the speed of your Internet or any other network connections. NetWorx can help you identify possible sources of network problems, ensure that you do not exceed the bandwidth limits specified by your ISP, or track down suspicious network activity characteristic of Trojan horses and hacker attacks.
The program allows you to monitor all your network connections or just a specific network connection, such as Wireless or Mobile Broadband. The software also features an array of highly customisable visual and sound alerts. You can set it up to alert you when the network connection is down or when some suspicious activity â?? such as unusually heavy data flow â?? occurs. It can also automatically disconnect all dial-up connections and shut the system down.

NetWorx is an excellent bandwidth monitor; however, $29 is a steep price to pay for it. While I have used it for years, since it went pay-only, I uninstalled it and now use NetTraffic, which is free and offers even more options than Networxs.

- The Ignore LAN option has been removed from the portable build as it now requires installation of a network driver. Use the installation package if you need this option

Great replacement for DuMeter, which went from usefull and fast to bloated and slow. Also NetWorx is free, that's how it's done. 5 Stars.

Ver 5.0 is now out.
It is is getting Much Better.

I was a paying customer of DU Meter a while ago. The programs evolved in complexity over the time. I never upgraded DU Meter to the latest versions.
Suddenly I came across this little gem and found it to be a great replacement for it. It gets you the information you need in an easy way.

4 because it's free, protable, do the work, and has some additional functions.
not 5 because there is no click though and update frequency parameter.
Good to see something else than NetMeter.
