NoAds is a program that detects when Internet popup advertisements appear, and quickly closes them. A popup ad is an ad that appears in a new Web browser window, and requires the user to manually close that window. NoAds is fully configurable, allowing the user to specify which ads they want to close automatically. The program is very easy to use, and stays running in the system tray for quick access.

    I have been using NoAds for about a year now, it was hard to find a program that worked well with AOL...this one does the job fine. It also works for Internet Explorer & Opera as well, you can't beat that.

    Works pretty good for me. I've also tried the popular PopUp Killer (freeware too) and both of them are pretty similar. I'd like to know you people's opinions pros, cons, etc.. on both of these programs =)

    implemented well, seemed to nail those popups given my various configuration tests. definitely highly recommended; my only criticism was it didn't work with infotone. do they have an upgrade coming?

    this is the best pop up program i have ever used.. i used just about all of them, but in someway or another they all gave me problems.. PUK was the fastest but after about 3 weeks of use it stopped starting.. then gave me errors when starting under win2k.. so i decided to go back to noads... its the best and always works.. FULLY configurable if your one of the millions that hate popups then this is for you...
