Publisher's Description:

OpenTTD duplicates the original game feature-wise but also has numerous additions, including canals, revised rail station construction and additional airports. Perhaps the most significant feature compared to the original game is its multiplayer capability. It offers LAN and Internet play via public, world-wide servers for up to ten players.

The player is in control of a transport company, and competes against rival companies (or not, playing solo) to make as much profit as possible, by transporting passengers and various goods by road, rail, sea or by air.

I think some mention should be made in the publisher's description of the fact that it requires the original version of TTD files. I enjoyed playing the original game many years ago but have long since lost it. I can't really rate this, but I have to if I'm to make a comment, so I'll give it three based on my memories of the original game.

the artist: only a trully ignorant person could remark on graphical part of this game. Good lord... This is one of the greatest games ever created. Gameplay is STILL and will probably always be - pure pleasure and enjoyment.

This is a great fun game, one of the first I ever bought. It's a bit limited here and there - buses are great early on, but mainly the game economy revolves around trains and, to a lesser degree, planes and ships. This version seems to work well.
