The 12 branch has been a bit of a mess. 12.02 for me appears to be the best of the lot. This release has way too many inconsistencies. For example; go to rapidshare and just kept reloading the page. Sometimes the page will load and other times it won't. This behaviour is not present in 12.02 or other browsers on my system.

A great program. I needed a very lean browser for a slow old laptop that kept having fits of disk-thrashing when nothing would work. I also like the idea of browsers that work on all (or most) operating systems. I tried Chrome which was quick but sometimes it would gobble up all the memory, eventually using up half the RAM and killing the system. Opera doesn't do that and its wickedly fast, has a nice slider for resizing text and everything else. Awesome work. I am converted.

Opera's rushed releases shows a real lack of concern over quality. They simply are no longer listening to their loyal users who are reporting more and more bugs and regressions, seemingly in vain.

For me, flash video players smear down the page when scrolling and the extension preference over sight(see my 64bit review) are reasons enough for me to not only not upgrade but perhaps begin looking elsewhere

Does this version support shortcut keys such for tabbing with number keys 1& 2?

I've been a long time user of Opera but have switched to Firefox for three reasons. First because they wont produce a Unite free version, second because Opera can't seem to handle many Google cookies properly and third, Opera definitely got slower with version 10 and FF is now much faster. Try it and see.
