The day the Opera management decided to chromatized (sic) their browser, they have pushed the button for self-destruction !
If you must use Chromium based browser then there are many better browsers available on the with much more functionality than what is being offered by the Opera team.
Give this chromium close a miss, it's simply not worth anymore. There are too many "chromium cloned bloat-ware" (sic) available on the net.

Opera has basically stopped developing at it's Norwegian office and shifted development to Poland in a cost saving measure. Yeah because cutting costs leads to better quality and it shows. Silly bugs, no worthwhile improvements, I give up.

Some people are obsessed. Opera is very good for my needs. Not perfect, but other browsers are far worse.

Now with working bookmarks, the last feature missing from 12 Version

Is that a joke? It's apparently the same one the CFO is telling investors...and it's a load. NO built in; mail client, notes, torrent client, per site settings, customization, etc..
Whether you used those features or not is moot because the fact is this does NOT have half of the features that old Opera had. But it is so advanced now that some feel the need to pat it on the back for having bookmarks?! haha. I'll also point out that the bookmarks don't even support drag and drop yet. I do like them however as it seems very speed dial esq which kind of renders the new tab one useless. Clearly this browser is being developed for the finger painting google crowd
Most plugin developers do not submit to the Opera repository which means another add on to allow you access to the Chrome store
I had given this a 2 start rating but the last 2 versions crashed quite a bit for me and failed to load some web pages that the stable branch could

The development of this chrome clone has been a very drawn out process. Many features are still missing and this and the dev version are rather buggy.
