Options Czar is a tool that calculates and helps design stock portfolio strategies using options. Users introduce the data for their current portfolio (or start from scratch) and check the options in the market to evaluate profit opportunities depending on their expected stock or index behavior.

    From the developer: you can download free data from the CBOE web site at http://www.cboe.com/Dela...QuoteTableDownload.aspx and then load it manually into Options Czar using the File... Load Data from Disk command and then select "Single file".

    Reviewing 2.0 Beta 2 (Mar 10, 2005)

    Looked promising but I get several OutOfBoundExceptions when running it. But that's not why I'm giving it a 1. That's because it also requires a $35/month registration at stricknet.com. So while there's a 30 day demo, its essentially useless because it had no data to work with.
