PageLink is an Internet utility that lets you have a list of favorite documents or Web sites at your disposal, without having to hunt through the start menu or launching your browser. PageLink uses the power of Windows or Mac OS to automatically detect what program should be used to open your files, and they can be local or online. The number of pagelinks that you can have is limited only to the size of your hard drive. You can export up to 5 pagelinks at a time to a book, which can be imported by anybody who has PageLink 1.5 or better.

If you don't like such programs stick to your favorites, BorgCube! I always forgot to save my favorites and so they got lost. Another problem I had with the favorites was that I didn't find anything in the end and the menu was far too big... I don't know about the features of this program, I'm downloading it at the moment (damn slow) but with another program I used for my favorites you could give a description and username/password for a site. If you have many links to manage that is a important feature.
Bet you didn't even give it a try, BorgCube!
I downloaded the program in the mean time. Bad: It only wants to start, if I set my date back to the last century...
I also was very disappointed as the program said: "PageLink is NOT freeware. If you use it too often, you are obligated to register..."
Also disappointing are the features and the handling.
I'm sorry, BorgCube, you're right, with this program, but there are other Favorites-managers out there wich are far better than this...

I tried it, and basically, this tool is designed to be used to leech files off the Napster network and does not share files. To me, that defeats the whole purpose of Napster -- sharing music. I don't like that idea very much. If everyone uses this and doesn't also run Napster to share, everyone loses.

I couldn't see any serious advantage of using this instead of the Napster client anyways, other than it making less obvious you are leeching music.

They have a perfect right to develop it, but I don't have to like it or support it.

This program seems worthless. Explorer bars in Windows 9x/NT4/2000 will give you access to your "Favorites" and your documents from the desktop!!! (Without using disk space and as much memory.) You can even do it with Windows 3.1x if you manage to get the Explorer interface. Maybe MacOS lacks this feature but I would not care about an OS with a limited platform as an Apple computer.
