Seems like a pretty good program. Version 1.08 is out now. It still does not run on Vista. I also don't think it works on a 64-bit OS, either.

I unpacked the file, ran the exe and this Root-Kit detector scanned my system. It was pretty fast. No installation was needed.
For a more rigorous scan, you can have it set itself up to reboot and scan during the reboot.
Assuming it works ... it sure is easy and fast enough. And I like that no install is required and that this software can be ran from anywhere. Thanks BetaNews!

I read the system requirement on its official site. It said Panda Anti-Rootkit is just for Windows 2000 ServicePack 4 and Windows XP or later. It would be better if BetaNews could check it first...

It says Windows (All)...lie - lie - lie !!! Doesn't run on 64-bit Windows !!!! OS is NOT supported error pops up......
