It allows users to run multiple operating systems (such as Windows, Linux, FreeBSD, OS/2 and so on) simultaneously without rebooting or hard disk partitioning. I'm running the 30 day trial of RC3 on my 24" iMac with 1 gig of memory. It works, but there seem to be some stuttering when accessing the network or the CD/DVD drive on the system.

Not sure if it is going to require more than 1 gig of additional memory to improve performance or if this is indicative of the product regardless of available RAM.

So far, emails requesting assistance from them have been unanswered.

Good effort, fair price, but the fact that you have to sign up for an activation key just to test the demo is sort of lame.

BootCamp isn't the same thing, but it is free with no strings - yet. Score reflects that.

I've been using this program since Beta1. For regular Windows programs, it works flawlessly. I have not tried to attach external devices or play games that require high speed accelerated video (but it's my opinion that if you need to do a lot of this, then use a PC).
For Mac users with the need to access Windows programs, perhaps for corporate use, this program is perfect.

An impressive first official release, with lots of refinements from RC2. If you have an Intel Mac with at least 2GB of RAM (anything less is unsatisfactory) and the need to run some Windows applications I cannot recommend this enough. With a 30-day trial period you can evaluate the fitness of Parallels Desktop v. Bootcamp for your needs.

This is a very promising program. Extremely easy to set up and use, and with this release (.58 Beta 4) it is feeling full-featured and stable.
