    It's ok. Only shortfall is that it does not have as many files as other file-sharing services (less users). Version 1.9 is now out. Spyware scans clean using Ad-Aware and Spybot.

    Note: I am reviewing Piolet 1.05, not the beta.

    Like all programs, I scan my system immediately before and after the installation. I was surprised to find 2 infections of BroadCastPC adware (Screenshot Here) with the latest Ad-aware SE definitions, and 31 infections of WhenU.SaveNow spyware (Screenshot Here) with the latest Spyware Doctor definitions.

    Since Piolet 1.05 uses a web installer, it must've been downloaded during the installation.

    I cannot give this program or any other program that has adware/spyware any more than a rating of 1.

    Really good but if you are looking for something that is not so popular, it is unlikely you'll find it using this program. Easy to use, never crashes, looks pretty good, fast too. It's usually the first program I use and if I can't find what I am looking for, I then use Kazaa Lite Resurrection or WinMx. Those have 10 times more users at any given time.

    Still the best .. I wish pablo could update it but i hear he may be ill . It will be a while until it gets another beta .

    This program is great for a quick download of a single track but i have even found some rare stuff on here . All a program needs is the users and they provide the files . Everything else works fine . Its super fast and doesnt seem to hog my resources etc.
