Power Defragmenter is based on Sysinternals defragmentation "engine". Basically its just an advanced GUI for the Sysinternals core application which takes defragmentation process to a whole new level. Very high defragmentation speed, efficiency and ease of use. Such high speed is only available with Sysinternals defragmentation "engine".

ultradefrag is os, has scheduling from it's windows install folder, loves windows, and even has a portable option.

It is a useful companion to other defragmenters.

It is just a GUI for contig, and does a good job as GUI.

While contig is useful, it should not be treated as a replacement for other defragmenters.

It usually does not organize the files in a wise way - something that other defragmenters do. Its power, however, is in its ability to defragment files that other defragmenters cannot handle. It is recommended to use contig after another defragmenter has finished doing what it can.

Seems quite good actually. Seeing as how the only other free defrag I know of is O&O Defrag 2000 which isn't all that reliable now, this isn't too bad at all.

GUI for Contig.exe. Useful for a nice fast defrag without compacting (although you can run compacting too if you like by selecting the power defrag option). Has its place - a nice fast, simple defragmenter.
